An experienced leader known for being pragmatic, thoughtful, analytical and organized, Ms. Stephanie Turman offers an acumen for team building, problem solving, inclusive leadership and community empowerment. Stephanie is not only committed to excellence but strives to achieve operational efficiencies and improve service delivery for her clientele by leveraging her unique set of skills to consistently deliver results by aligning her business goals with her client’s needs.

Always Busy Consulting, LLC (ABC) was founded on the principles of achieving her vision of having a transformative impact on the local community and its various stakeholders. Stephanie has built up ABC to become a premiere provider of high-quality professional consulting services in the spheres of Diversity Outreach, Minority and Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) Development, Construction Support Services (e.g. CM, Inspections, Owner’s Rep), Community Outreach and Economic Development Program Management. She has several years of corporate experience working in the public and private sectors, with one of her employs, prior to launching ABC, being at the Housing Authority City of Pittsburgh (HACP). While at HACP, Stephanie achieved recognition for her dedication to resident support services and commitment to public service. Her diligence was recognized by HACP's leadership as she was selected as “Employee of the Year.”

While working at HACP, Stephanie's dedication and commitment to excellence led her to become the face of a nationally acclaimed HACP home-ownership program targeted at women called “Aint I a Woman.” A strong believer in grass-roots community organizing, she has participated in supporting numerous community outreach and empowerment initiatives with the common objectives of doing good by giving back.

In the years since launching Always Busy Consulting, LLC, Stephanie has propelled the organization into achieving strong results in her desire to continue doing good by giving back. ABC was one of the consulting teams selected by the Pittsburgh Penguins organization to provide MWBE outreach assistance as part of the overall development initiative of the former civic arena site in the Hill District. ABC along with other selected consultants have excelled in providing a high level of leadership by expertly bringing together community leaders, the business community and elected officials to create seamless professional service delivery that the Penguins organization expected and continues to do so.

ABC is working on several community-level development initiatives such as development of a facility to increase the availability of affordable care for the elderly while simultaneously providing employment and training opportunities for the youth.

In addition to her demanding schedule in leading ABC, Stephanie also serves as a Commissioner on the Allegheny County Finance and Development Commission. This county agency oversees the activities of a number of sub-agencies such as the Allegheny County Residential Finance Authority, Allegheny County Industrial Development Authority, Allegheny County Higher Education Building Authority and the Allegheny County Hospital Development Authority.

    Prior to joining ABC Margaret Garner was Founder and CEO of Broadway Consolidated Companies, a Chicago based General Construction firm. Among it's projects, high-profile contracts included work on the University if Chicago's Comer Children's Hospital in Hyde park and U.S. Army Corp of Engineers Shoreline improvements on Chicago's lakefront in Bronzeville. Margaret made headlines in 2006 when Broadway was awarded the contract to build Wal-Marts first location in a major urban city on Chicago's Westside. In each of these projects, she gained recognition for creating jobs and opportunities for minority and women sub-contractors and tradesmen traditionally disadvantaged in major construction contracts.

    Margaret honed her construction management skills and built a stellar reputation as a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development executive, first in Pittsburgh and later in Chicago as the Director of Modernization where her work to rebuild ABLA Homes was regarded as the city's model for public housing redevelopment.

    A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh in Business and Economics and former recipient of the U.S. Small Business Administration's Minority Small Business Person of the year, Margaret is a member of the City of Chicago Community Development Commission and the Untied Nations Commission on the Status of Women. She is also a two-term president of the Federation of Women Contractors.

    Dr. Jean Harvey has acquired a diverse work experience that spans over a thirty year period across several states. During that time she has developed excellent verbal and written communication skills. These skills were derived from the many professional and educational experiences she attained. Dr. Harvey has worked in and for a variety of private, nonprofit and public entities and institutions, all of which contributed to her ability to work in diverse settings and circumstances.

    From1999 to the present, she has been the Principal of MJ Harvey Associates, providing Human Services Consultation, primarily to nonprofit and faith-based organizations in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Washington, D.C. Her expertise is in program development, grant and proposal writing, program evaluation and teaching, training and technical assistance. She is dedicated to helping organizations improve their internal systems so that they can be more productive in the market externally.

    She has served as chief administrator, clinical manager, team leader and coordinator for programs and projects large and small. She has a knack for quickly identifying the problem and developing strategic solutions. She has been honored for her work in the community and excelled professionally and academically, earning her doctorate in Administration and Leadership Studies. She is comfortable working on contracts, compliance, economic and community development, community services, and generally any project that empowers people and organizations to move beyond their current position.
